After retirement, we were looking for a quality-built home in a maintenance-provided
neighborhood that would offer us the best value for our new home investment.
After several years of comparing overall workmanship and construction,
we kept coming back to Landmark's quality construction and top-of-the-line
products. The many extras included as their "standard" homes
were far superior to other builders in the area, i.e., ceramic tile entry
and backsplash; 1o-foot ceilings and crown molding in the entry way and
great room; custom cabinets and beautiful woodwork, permanent vinyl shake
siding, 40-year timberline roofs, extra "Quiet Zone" insulation,
and Andersen™ or Pella™ windows and exterior doors.
There were a variety of plans to work with, and we met personally with
Greg Andachter to customize our floor plan to suit our specific needs,
and every detail was worked out to our specifications.
We couldn't be more pleased with our building experience, and highly

"We met with Greg in January of 1999. As we wanted to move into
a carefree/senior style home [Being retired at the time] that would fit
our needs as we got older. However, even before our decision could be
made [April 16th Õ99 ] the price increased over $15,000, which almost
made us Say; ÒNO !Ó * Wow! We are sure glad that we said, "Oh, Yes!!"
This big decision was the best lifestyle choice we have made. Skip had
lung cancer in mid-2000, which made the settling into our home very difficult.
However, the location of the Cardinal Woods homes - in the heart of everything
- like stores, doctors, new hospital, and all of the other stuff a person
could ever want to be near, and being a carefree/senior style development
was a very big plus, too! Our home inspector with lots of info; also,
was a great person to help us watch the project as it developed. With
his final OK, he had many good ideas for making our home handicap friendly
and very accessible. We have also installed a chair lift to the basement
so we wouldn't fall down the stairs and, in the end, a very nice, well
built home by Mr. Greg Andachter. * A Good Job!! * Our life is a true
joy with all of our new friends and warm friendships we have made in
Cardinal Woods.
